protective coatings

We have protective coatings:

• for upgrading old coated / painted equipment to a more modern system;

• for old galvanised steel where the galvanising is all but gone;

• for Corten steel where protection is required to avoid rust staining of should anyone come into contact with the structure;

• for Copper and alloys where patination is either not wanted or is wanting to be controlled.

Protective coatings also includes a sub-set called barrier coatings. These are usually transparent and act as simple barrier between the substrate and the environment. The use may be simple but the coating chemistry is clever and complex.
